Two Meiji period Japanese ivory Okimono, the first an unusual depiction of a rhinoceros and lion in combat, unsigned, approx 3 ½ ins long; the second finely carved as a seated monkey holding a peach, also unsigned, 2 ¾ ins high, the latter probably the finial from a tusk vase, both c1900 (2)
