This unique sale is primarily comprised from the estate of a world renowned and celebrated composer described by the BBC as "a towering figure in the history of British music" Sir Malcolm Arnold CBE. We have been given the exclusive opportunity to offer items from his lifetime collection and work. A wide selection of lots will be put under the hammer ranging from a diverse Art collection including works created specifically for him and his symphonies, to his well earned Ivor Novellos, presentation gifts and personal belongings. Available at auction is a selection of his incredible original manuscripts including early works such as "Grand Fantasia" Opus 973, 1940; Symphony No 1, Opus 22, 1949 and further Film scores for example the "Great St. Trinian's Train Robbery" 1964 and "David Copperfield" 1969, to be sold alongside musical instruments, equipment and further memorabilia.     INTEGRITY OF PROVENANCE STATEMENT The lots listed below may not have been owned by Sir Malcolm Arnold, but are from his home, owned by the vendor. Lots 18-28, 36-52, 68-83, 89-103, 105, 107-111A, 198-199. Please note: lot 108 has been withdrawn from the sale.

Viewing: Tuesday 4th April 2pm-8pm. Wednesday 5th April 10am - 6pm. Morning of the sale from 9am. This sale will be held at the Assembly House Norwich. Theatre St, Norwich NR2 1RQ Please Note: Items purchased are available for collection at The Assembly House on the day of the auction until 4.30pm. Please Also Note: Items not collected on the day of the sale will be available for collection from Keys Fine Art Auctioneers by arrangement.
