Second World War medal group of 5 medals and miniatures Attributed to Major Allan Trevor Binny, 3rd Carabiners (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards and Royal Regiment of Fusilliers (City of London Regiment), comprising of 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal and 1953 ERII Coronation Medal together with Royal Life Saving Society medal named to A. T. Binny July 1925 together with 3rd Carabiners sport running medal to Lt Binny 1933.

Born in Mandalay, Burma on the 19th October 1911, Son of Alan James Murray BINNY and Dorothy CRISP

Passed out as 2nd Lt from Sandurst into the 3rd Carabiners (Prince Of Wales Dragoon Guards) on the 27th August 1931, Trained as a German Interpreter (2nd Class) on the 01/01/1937 Transferred into the Royal Fusilliers (City of London Regiment) and promoted to Captain on the 27th August 1939.

Died 1997 in Ipswich, Suffolk
