Borneo Dayak Mandau sword with bone carved pommel with horse hair (partcial losses to pommel). Entwined with herringbone weaved rattan grip with floral decorated metal handguard. Ornatley decorated Iron blade with copper and brass swirrling and wave decoration throughout and bands and crucifix to blade spine, double sided single fullered blade, narrow at the grip, widening gradually towards the point. Lacking scabbard. Overall length: approx 74cm. Blade length approx 58cm long
