Some discolouration to the boards edges, foxing to the boards edges and fore-edge. rom the Library of SIMON BRETT 1943-2024 WOOD ENGRAVER with bookplate to the front pastedowns. **Simon Baliol Brett (27 May 1943 – 29 December 2024) was a British artist known for his work in wood engraving. He created more than 1,000 engravings for over sixty books, including works for The Folio Society, fine press books, bookplates and independent work. Brett’s work is held in the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Collections to be made/firm arrangements made known to us if by independent courier strictly within 7 days of saleday.
We reserve the right to charge your registered card if payment is not received within these terms.
Items still on-site after 7 days will be subject to storage fees of £5.00 + VAT per day, per invoice. These must be settled before lots can be released.
If the hammer price is reached in these fees, we reserve the right to cancel the sale and any paid monies will be forwarded to the original vendor and become non-refundable.
