Born 1890, Son of Samuel and Edith Crossley, of "Woodlands," Welling, Kent, England. Born at Westcombe Park, London, England. Joined 20^th January 1915

Served at Gallipoli and then posted on the Western Front in France, where he was subsequently killed on 25th July 1916 aged 26 during the Battle of Pozières during the heavy German Artillery Bombardment and is commemorated at VILLERS-BRETONNEUX MEMORIAL, France and was Listed as "Missing" on the Casualty List issued by the War Office from 6th September 1916.
