Interesting late 19th century German brass and steel cased combination padlock engraved to front 'Erfunden von (invented by) Schiansky', engraved to back with a double headed German eagle beneath a mitred crown, overall size 8cm x 5cm. Note: unsurprisingly, the lock is currently locked. To reveal the four handed clock like combination section to the back - at the same time push the central bar to the right and push down on the top. This releases the circular enclosed section to the back. The lid is currently detachable at the hinge.
