Some mild marking to the white boards, some small areas of scratching and one or two stain spots on the satin. 42 coloured plates as called for, multi-language book [English and German]. A beautiful glimpse into Lear’s foray as a Natural History illustrator, lesser known compared to his nonsense and children’s work. 152pp. Hardcover, Folio.

Collections to be made/firm arrangements made known to us if by independent courier strictly within 7 days of saleday.

We reserve the right to charge your registered card if payment is not received within these terms.

Items still on-site after 7 days will be subject to storage fees of £5.00 + VAT per day, per invoice. These must be settled before lots can be released.

If the hammer price is reached in these fees, we reserve the right to cancel the sale and any paid monies will be forwarded to the original vendor and become non-refundable.
