Anthony Holland (British 20th Century) Two sketches for the ballet Swan Lake (X2) costume designs. Pencil, ink, heightened with white on buff paper, signed. Holland made his first stage designs for The Road to Rome, Repertory Theatre, Liverpool, 1933. After WWII, he regularly worked in London's West End, he retired in 1981. The V&A, London, hold examples of Holland's sketches.
