An original British one sheet poster for The Elephant Man (1980) from the Studio Canal Archive at Pinewood Studios.
Size approximately 101x68cm
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This poster comes direct from the StudioCanal archive, which was at the world famous Pinewood Film Studios in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire. StudioCanal acquired rights to many well known historic film distributors such as Ealing Studios, Hammer, Associated British Pathe, Associated British Picture Corporation, British Lion, Anglo EMI, Thorn EMI, EMI, Cannon and Lumiere to name a few. When StudioCanal acquired the titles, they did not just get access to the original 35mm films, they also got the associated original production paperwork and the original marketing materials. The archive was full of undistributed posters, lobby cards, press books and stills that had never seen the light of day since the film's original release. The archive moved from Pinewood Studios in 2017 and the decision was made to dispose of these marketing assets.
