Country Sale - 22nd July 2019

Our country Sale offers all types of furniture and household effects, both antique and modern, books, bicycles, garden produce and nursery stock.  The sale takes place every week over four dedicated salerooms and an enclosed yard. Saleroom 9 (plants, nursery stock and produce) starts 9:45am. Saleroom 4 and Yard (tools, garden items, timber etc) starts 10:15am. Saleroom 5 (Victorian and later furniture, antiques, collectables etc) starts 10:30am. Saleroom 6 (Cottage, modern furniture, boxed books etc) starts 1:30pm. Listings are not available in advance for plants, produce and some outside lots, as these arrive on the day.

Antiques & Interiors including pictures - 23rd July 2019

This monthly sale typically includes: antique and modern design furniture, ceramics, glassware, clocks, metalware, toys and collectables, musical instruments, scientific instruments, oil paintings, watercolours and prints.   Artist's resale rights (Droit de Suite) in addition to our normal Buyer's Premium of 20% + VAT, a commission of 4% (No VAT) will be payable on resale works of qualifying artists, for a period of up to 70 years after their death, on pictures making over one thousand Euros (payable in Sterling at the rate applicable on the day of the sale); such Lots are marked with an 'AR', this will be payable by the purchaser of the picture.

On the third day of our Fine sale we will be offering a good selection of Wines &Spirits along with the Fine Art section of this sale.     Artist’s resale rights (Droit de Suite) in addition to our normal Buyer’s Premium of 20% + VAT, a commission of 4% (No VAT) will be payable on resale works of qualifying artists, for a period of up to 70 years after their death, on pictures making over one thousand Euros (payable in Sterling at the rate applicable on the day of the sale); such Lots are marked with an ‘*’, this will be payable by the purchaser of the picture.
