A Statement about Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

Updated 2nd May 2020

Keys would like to reassure all of clients that we continue to closely follow all advice from the government, and that our priority is to protect the health and safety of our customers and staff.

Our Offices and Salerooms are currently closed to the public, following the UK Government’s directive of 23rd March, and will re-open as soon as government advise that it is safe to do so. In the meantime, all sale accounts will continue to be dealt with as usual.

Due to our ongoing investment in online-selling technology and marketing, and our large international buyer database, we have now resumed most of our auctions as online-only sales with a skeleton staff (working to government social-distancing guidelines and from home where possible), rescheduling our previously-postponed April sales throughout May.

Full details will be updated on our website as dates are announced, and we have some fantastic lots to offer over the coming weeks.

All bidding for these sales will be via internet, telephone, or commission (absentee) bid only; a full condition report service will be available, and viewing will be offered remotely (by appointment) via video call. There will be no “in room” bidders for these sales.

All enquiries during this time should be made BY EMAIL ONLY (our phones are currently unmanned) to accounts@keysauctions.co.uk.

Entries for Future Sales

We are currently accepting bookings of entries for all forthcoming sales, with an online valuation service available on our website – please click here to submit items to our online valuation desk. Delivery of lots may be made at present by post or by courier; full collection and contact-free drop off will be available by appointment shortly.

Collection of Purchased Items

Our in-house postage service resumes from Monday 4th May, we also recommend the contact-free packing and postage service offered by Mailboxes Norwich. We will be introducing a fixed-price local delivery service at the start of May, to enable bidders to buy and have items “contact-free” delivered direct to their homes after the auction – full details will be available shortly.

Please keep safe and well, and do follow us on facebook or twitter to keep in touch with us. We hope to see all of our customers again very soon.
