Once entries for an auction are closed, our team of experienced experts will undertake the process of cataloguing. Your Lots will be placed in the most appropriate sale to maximise their potential.

We prepare descriptions of the items and estimates of the prices they are likely to realise, and in most cases photographs will be taken for the sale catalogue or internet.

We include all lots on our website. All Fine Art Sales are also included on a specialist website which has a worldwide clientele, especially in the USA. All Fine Art Sale lots are offered live on-line via where bidders anywhere can bid for your items in “real time”.

If you have items entered into an Antique, Picture, Books or Specialist auction, you will receive a copy of the printed catalogue, (provided your consignment is estimated at £200 or above). You will also receive a sales notification, regardless of the estimate value of your consignment.

Printed catalogues for our General sales are only available at the Salerooms, but you can view or download the full catalogue online from the Thursday afternoon prior to the sale.

Catalogues are sent out in advance for Antique, Pictures, Books and Specialist sales, to subscribers on our international mailing list, as well as being published on international collectors and antiques portal websites. These sales are also advertised regionally and nationally, ensuring maximum exposure for your items prior to the sale.

Alternatively, you can register on-line to receive Sale Alerts for our forthcoming sales.
